Suvarnaprashan

Ayurvedic Immunization, known as Suvarnaprashan, is administered during the auspicious time of Pushya Nakshatra, from infancy up to 16 years of age. It involves the oral intake of Suvarnaprashan drops to enhance a child's OJAS (vitality), Tejas (radiance), and Bala (strength) each month. Suvarnaprashan is derived from Swarna bhasma, which holds significant Ayurvedic properties. It acts as an antioxidant, antibacterial agent, anti-rheumatic remedy, and nervine stimulant.

Key benefits of Suvarnaprashan include:

  1. Enhanced Brain Development: Swarna bhasma enhances brain growth, improves grasping power, analytical skills, and memory recall in children.
  2. Improved Digestion: It boosts digestion power, ensuring better nutrient absorption and overall health.
  3. Immune System Support: Suvarnaprashan strengthens the defense mechanisms and immunity of children, making them less susceptible to infections, allergies, and general weakness.
  4. Prevention of Respiratory Issues: Regular use helps prevent common childhood ailments such as cough, cold, fever, and respiratory infections.
  5. Promotes Physical Growth: It supports healthy physical development and aids in achieving developmental milestones at an early age.
  6. Skin Health: Ayurvedic Immunization also contributes to improving skin complexion and texture, enhancing the child's overall appearance and well-being.

In Ayurveda, Suvarnaprashan is considered a holistic approach to immunization, focusing not only on physical health but also on mental and emotional development. It underscores the importance of nurturing a child's innate vitality (OJAS), radiance (Tejas), and strength (Bala) during their formative years, ensuring a balanced and harmonious growth trajectory.
